At LANK our history combined with innovation continues to set us apart and informs how we approach the school day. Our school is committed to play-based learning because of the joy it affords our young learners.  Visit any classroom area and you will see smiles abound, and a zest for the day!  Whether observing the steps in making a pumpkin pie, or exploring shapes on a classroom light table, our students feel at ease and at home.

Children are encouraged to ask questions, problem solve and explore the environment using their senses.  Our wooded surrounding lends itself to hands-on learning as children explore the life cycle of trees, observe birds in their natural habitat, and collect acorns with glee!  STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) is emphasized as it encourages creative thinking, imagination, and playfulness.

Our days are planned with purpose, and accompanying activities are developmentally appropriate for children in their first school years.

Education at LANK is a joyful journey filled with success and validation, while providing the skills children need to succeed in elementary school and beyond. Our hands-on approach is enhanced by the guidance of dedicated, loving and passionate educators. Our school is located on 2 ½ wooded acres which allows our children to fully engage with nature and appreciate the beauty around us.
